Vice President, Finance

Jerome and his team are responsible for the Corporate Financial Reporting, Taxation, FP&A, Treasury, and I.T. Finance functions at Synergy. Alongside the Corporate Accounting and Finance team, Jerome provides timely Financial and Operational insights to Synergy’s Executive Leadership and Management teams to drive strategic decision-making and mitigate risk across all verticals.

Jerome is directly involved with all aspects of construction accounting, portfolio-wide tax compliance, hospitality initiatives, legal entity structuring and private capital formation. Jerome and the Corporate Finance team play an integral role in the management, reporting and loan administration functions of Synergy Funding, the private lending arm of Synergy. Additionally, Jerome assists the Family Office function through ad hoc financial planning, effective capital allocation and investment due diligence.

Prior to his experience at Synergy, Jerome spent five years working in various roles in Boston. Jerome joined KPMG’s Business Tax Services group after graduation, providing tax compliance and advisory services to Corporate, Partnership, Non-Profit and HNW clients for three years, across several industries including Technology, Pharmaceuticals, Real Estate and Higher-Education. Jerome also spent two years on the Finance team at Longroad Energy, a utility-scale Solar and Wind developer. While at Longroad Energy, Jerome focused on FP&A, asset-level cash flow forecasting, lender compliance reporting, project-level development accounting and effective capital allocation.

Jerome earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Endicott College. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Jerome enjoys golfing, skiing, spending time at the beach on Cape Cod and traveling in his spare time.
