As Vice President of People & Culture and a member of Synergy’s Senior Leadership Team, Jess leads the strategy and execution of our People function to attract and retain Synergy’s talent, shape our employer brand, and maximize team potential.
Before joining Synergy, Jess built a career of more than 17 years in People & Culture and has worked in a variety of industries, including tech, hospitality, and nonprofits. She is especially skilled at building People infrastructure and programs for start-up and emerging growth companies while navigating continuous change. Known as an agile, authentic team-player, Jess successfully built the People function for multiple start-ups and was instrumental in a high-profile acquisition by tech giant Cisco.
Jess earned a degree in Anthropology from the University of Michigan and is a native Texan, hailing from a Texas-Mexico border town. Her awareness of culture, beliefs, and values plays an important role in defining and shaping company identity and employee experience.
