Throughout his tenure at Synergy, Mark has focused on driving efficiencies while continuously improving financial and operational procedures across the company.
As Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, Mark holds a dual leadership role, overseeing both financial strategy and operational excellence. He leads the Accounting & Finance department responsible for all property and corporate financial reporting, analysis, and treasury operations. Additionally, he heads Synergy’s Property Management, Construction, Human Resources and Office Management functions. Mark focuses on bridging the departments’ day-to-day operations to efficiently execute policy, achieve growth goals and manage risk.
Prior to joining Synergy, Mark was an Audit Manager at Ernst & Young in Boston’s Financial Services Office, specializing in Asset Management.
He earned a Bachelor’s degree from Villanova University and a Master’s degree from the University of Connecticut. Mark is a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts, a Chartered Financial Analyst, and a member of CFA Society Boston.
