Matthew Callahan

Vice President, Property Management

Matthew is a Vice President with Synergy Services, responsible for all property management operations at One Lincoln Street in Downtown Boston. One Lincoln Street is a 36-story 1,114,282 square foot Class A office tower with a 7-story low-rise building and five levels of underground parking.

Matthew brings more than 23 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry to his role at Synergy. Prior to joining the firm, Matthew spent four years with Fortis Property Group, managing One Lincoln Street and five years with Transwestern/RBJ and CBRE, Inc. managing a 12-building portfolio for NB Development Group; the real estate entity for New Balance Athletics. The portfolio included Boston Landing, a 17-acer mixed-use development in Allston-Brighton that features the New Balance new world headquarters building, practice facilities for the Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics, office/lab buildings, retail and warehouse space and a newly constructed MBTA commuter rail station.

Matthew also spent seven years with Normandy Real Estate Partners overseeing the daily operation of 2.5 million square feet in downtown Boston and the neighboring suburbs. Prior to Normandy, he was with Boston Private Bank & Trust Company where he was responsible for property and facility operations, vendor management and construction. He has also worked at CBRE New England and Insignia/ESG. His industry knowledge and proficiency in property operations, financial reporting, capital projects, leasing, and tenant relations are assets to the firm.

Matthew is a graduate of Northeastern University and Saint Sebastian’s School. Matthew is active with BOMA Boston and currently serves on the Board of Directors. He volunteers at the New England Center for Homeless Veterans, serves on the Board of Governors at the Milton Hoosic Club and is a member of the Saint Sebastian’s Class Alumni Group; he is OSHA Certified and volunteers as a youth coach in his hometown.

Matthew holds a BA from Northeastern University with a concentration in Leadership Management.
